Contents of lectures for guides.

The certificate entitling to conduct excursions for groups in the Museum for free is issued after the course.

Enrolment is carried out by previous appointment. There is a number of groups of 15-20 persons each.

Time: NOVEMBER, MARCH, MAY
Period: 4 days, 4 hours daily.
Location: Museum premises
Cost of the course: 1200 rubles (cash).

    The classes are conducted by:
  • P.E. Sorokin, assistent director of the Northwest institute for scientific research of social and natural heritage.
  • I.I.Voevodsky, director of Eklektika tourist and cultural centre.
  • Julia Tsurkanu, head of PR department of “Okhta Group”.


I day

1st part: History of Nevsky coasts. History and archeology of the Okhta source. Landscrona, Nevskoye Ustye. City foundation and fortress construction. P.E.Sorokin. (2 hours)

2nd part: Sweden kings and military leaders related to the history of Ingermanlandia. I.I. Voevodsky.(2 hours)

II day

1st part: City Nyen, constructions, people, fates. Capture of Nyenshans. P.E.Sorokin. (2 hours)

2nd part: The Swedes in Petersburg and Russian-Sweden relations in the days of Peter. I.I. Voevodsky.(2 hours)

III day

1st part: Constructions and their location in Nyen. Classes afield. P.E. Sorokin. (2 hours)

2nd part: The Swedes in Petersburg in the second half of the XVIII – early XIX centuries. I.I. Voevodsky.(2hours)

IV day

1st part: The Swedes in Petersburg at the end XIX – early XX centuries. I.I.Voevodsky.(2 hours)

2nd part: Project of territory development - District 700. Julia Tsurkanu, PR manager (1 hour)
