«New archeological finds» 2- 25 March 2007
Okhta Shipyard. Pages in History» 30 November 2006 – 30 January 2007

This unique style has been dubbed the karpist style by the critics and
is, in essence, a free style using original colors mixed by the artist
himself, life, joy and most especially the message it sends to us. His
work has meaning on more then one level and the observer is invited in
to be part of what he has created. Karpism’s free painting style breaks
all moulds. Ti is a unique style we cannot classify either as cubism of
representational, nor, for obvious reasons al realism. read more >>> Aleksey Ejov's personal exhibition (St.Petersburg, Russia) «Muse on Motion» 7 June – 15 July, 2006

The exhibition is based on the collections of Sergey and Mikhail
Aleksashins who are conducting archeological excavations on the Luga
bank in 60-km distance from Novgorod. According to the Aleksashins
theory, in 862 AD tribes of Old Russia invited Danish sea-king Rurick
Skeldung and his Vikings to govern and protect Russian borders. Rurick
as the first Russian prince removed the capital from Old Ladoga to the
bank of the lake Ilmen where Novgorod was built. He set outposts - armed
fortresses - at the borders. One of the fortresses was constructed on
the Luga bank at Peredol. The exhibition presents rather interesting
material which was not demonstrated before. more>>> «Old Ladoga Antiques». Exhibition goes from 18 December till 15 April 2004
